These terms govern your use of the MindTree Academy apps and website, operated by Olivet Management Private Limited, 081/787, Olivet, Panavely, Kottarakkara, Kollam, Kerala 691532, India. By creating an account you accept them.
1. Who may use MindTree
You must be at least 18 years old. MindTree is intended for nursing students and nursing professionals. You must give accurate registration details and keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
2. Your account
One account is for one person. Accounts may be used on a limited number of devices, which you can manage in Settings → Signed-in devices. Sharing an account, or your course access, with anyone else is not permitted and may end your access.
3. Course access
Some courses are free to join in the app. Others are made available to you by MindTree or by your institution, usually for a fixed period stated on the course. Access is personal to you and cannot be transferred. We may add to, update or reorganise course material — including replacing lessons and correcting questions — while you hold access to it.
4. What you may and may not do
The course material is owned by MindTree or licensed to it, and is protected by copyright. You may use it to study. You may not:
- copy, record, download, screenshot, republish, sell or share the material;
- use any part of it to teach, coach or create a competing product;
- attempt to obtain material you have not been given access to, or interfere with the service, its security or other users; or
- use automated tools to extract content.
5. Exams and academic integrity
Mock tests may be proctored. While a proctored test is open, the app prevents screenshots and screen recording, and reports to your faculty if a screenshot was attempted, if you left the app, or if your network dropped. These events are evidence for your faculty and do not automatically fail your attempt. Impersonating another student, sharing questions or answers, or otherwise cheating may void your attempt, your certificate and your account.
6. Certificates
A certificate is issued when you complete every required item of a course. It records that you completed that course on MindTree. It is not a professional qualification, a licence to practise, an accreditation, or a guarantee of any exam result or employment. We may withdraw a certificate obtained through cheating or error.
7. Not medical advice
MindTree provides exam preparation and educational material only. It is not medical, nursing, diagnostic or treatment advice, it is not a clinical reference, and it must not be relied on in the care of any patient. Always follow your institution's protocols, your supervisors and current clinical guidance. Material may be simplified for teaching or may become out of date.
8. Payments and refunds
Courses are purchased on the MindTree website and in the Android app. The iPhone app sells nothing. Where you pay, payment is handled by our gateway, Razorpay. Prices and any applicable taxes are shown before you pay. Our refund position: Please note that we do not offer refunds
9. Availability
We aim to keep MindTree running but do not promise uninterrupted service; it may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Videos and documents require an internet connection. We may change or discontinue features.
10. Ending your access
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete my account; deletion is immediate and permanent, and no refund arises from it unless the law says otherwise. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, in particular sections 4 and 5.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, MindTree is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunities, or for exam results, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use MindTree after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kottarakkara, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
